To comply with federal tax reporting requirements, each band must provide a completed IRS Form W-9 before receiving payment for any performance booked through Southern Sound Booking & Media.

The band may submit a W-9 using:

• The band's legal business name and Tax Identification Number (EIN), or

• An authorized band representative's legal name and Social Security Number if the band does not operate as a registered business.

The band acknowledges that it is an independent contractor and is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes related to compensation received for performances.

Failure to provide the required tax documentation may result in delayed payment and may affect eligibility for future booking opportunities through Southern Sound Booking & Media.
